Absolutely. Clinical studies and client experiences show that the connection established through a screen is just as powerful as face-to-face sessions. When working with anxiety, depression, or daily life stress, the location becomes irrelevant as long as a proper therapeutic relationship is established.
It's perfectly understandable that you might feel apprehensive or nervous about your first meeting. We dedicate our initial session to understanding your reasons for being here, discussing your expectations, and getting to know each other. You don't have to express yourself perfectly or "correctly"; you share everything at your own pace and as much as you feel ready.
Therapy is not a magic wand or a prescription for instant relief. It may involve confronting challenging emotions from time to time. However, one of our goals is to equip you with the awareness and emotional resilience to cope with life's ups and downs. In other words, we aim for long-term and lasting transformation, rather than a short-term promise of "feeling good."
Absolutely not. Therapy isn't just a last resort during major crises. You can start it to clarify a complex decision in your life, understand your relationship patterns, learn to set boundaries, or simply get to know yourself better. This time you dedicate to yourself is the most valuable investment you can make in yourself before a crisis strikes.
Because I work with clients from all over the world, I keep my schedule quite flexible. To avoid overlapping Italian time with yours, we mutually determine the most convenient and peaceful times for both of us.
Living in a different culture and trying to convey our emotions, past experiences, and subtle details in a foreign language can sometimes be exhausting. Speaking in your native language allows you to be yourself and be understood without having to deal with translating the nuances, humor, and cultural background of the language.
The foundation of therapy is trust. Our sessions are conducted via end-to-end encrypted and highly secure platforms that comply with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and International Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards. Sessions are never recorded; they remain entirely private between you and me.
A stable internet connection and a phone or computer with a working camera are all you need. The most important thing is to find a quiet corner where you won't be interrupted during the session, where you can put on your headphones and talk comfortably.
Individual therapy sessions last an average of 50 minutes. Session frequency is usually scheduled once a week or every two weeks, depending on the client's needs and the dynamics of the process.
